I can certainly understand your hope to use your step dad's military discount on a room reservation at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Unfortunately, the policy for
this promotion states that the service member (or spouse) would need to present a valid military ID at check-in and is required to stay in the room when using the discount. I know that isn’t the news you were hoping for, but there are many other special offers that you may qualify for and savings may even be comparable to the military discount.
A great
special offer available right now is for room stays between May 1 and July 29, 2026. This promotion can save you up to 30% on Disney Resorts Collection hotels, depending on the resort category and length of stay. While the qualifying details are different for this offer, the savings are comparable to the military rates. There is
a similar offer for rooms this spring that can save you up to 25% between February 22 and April 30, 2026. I encourage you to take a look at the
