I’m booking 8 nights Polynesian for myself and my son march 1 to March 9 with a 4 day park ticket and the dining plan. my adult daughter would like to come but only from March 1 to March 5. She would like a 2 day park ticket but no dining plan, possible?

Hi Lynda! Thanks for reaching out to us again at planDisney!

When booking a vacation package (hotel and theme park tickets together), all Guests staying in a room at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel must purchase theme park tickets of the same length. Additionally, if you are going to purchase one of the Disney Dining Plans, you must purchase it for everyone staying in the room for the entire length of the stay.

That being said, there is an alternative that you may want to consider. You can book a room-only reservation for you, your son, and your daughter. You would then purchase your tickets in a separate transaction. Please remember that cancelation policies will be different for doing this than if you were to purchase a vacation package. Usually, when you book a vacation package, you put down a deposit, and then you can make cancelations or changes up to 30 days before your arrival without penalties. However, when booking a room-only reservation, you will usually pay your deposit and are then charged the rest when you arrive at the resort. If you cancel up to 5 days before your arrival, you can usually receive a refund of your deposit. As far as purchasing tickets separately, you will be charged in full for them at the time of purchase and they cannot be canceled or transferred. Please note that policies can change so you'll want to check out the Terms and Conditions page before purchasing. And finally, if you book your room and tickets separately, you will not be able to add a Disney Dining Plan. There are some exceptions to this for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

Lynda, no matter how you decide to book, you're bound to have a magical vacation. There are so many new experiences to look forward to and the classics that are usually there. What's not to love?
