Hi Melanie!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm delighted to help you with your question so that you can enjoy a jolly holiday that is practically perfect in every way. As a UK guest, you'll be able to start booking that
great special offer which includes FREE dining with your vacation package very soon, so let's get right to your question!
Melanie, when you book a vacation package for Walt Disney World Resort, the tickets are active beginning with the first day of your package. You will have
18 days to use your 14-day tickets, which means that you'll have a few days at the end of your vacation to rest and relax. There is plenty to do outside of the parks on these days including dining and entertainment at
Disney Springs and checking out some great activities at other resorts! For example, you can easily spend an afternoon and evening at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort where you can visit the horses at
Tri-Circle-D Ranch, have dinner at
Hoop-Dee-Do Musical Revue, enjoy a
Campfire Sing-A-Long with Chip and Dale, and then stroll down to the beach to watch the
fireworks from Magic Kingdom Park.
If you haven't previously stayed at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, you're going to fall in love with it instantly! The laid-back island vibes will leave you feeling rested and refreshed on the days that you take a break from the parks. You'll find hammocks throughout the resort and
one of my favorite pools - the Fuentes del Morro Pool! There's also a great restaurant in
Sebastian's Bistro which carries the island theme from the resort through a family-style dinner. When it's time to head to the parks, Caribbean Beach serves as the "hub" for the
Disney Skyliner, so you can easily glide through the air to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Melanie, I hope this helps you plan for a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort next year! Please feel free to stop by and see us again with any other vacation planning questions you have in the future - we're all ears!
Cheers,
Kristi
