    I’m booking a holiday for Florida and intend on visiting the water parks and the date I have looked at is 22nd October for around 2 weeks, and was wondering if you could provide any information if both the water parks would be open for that date ?

    Welcome to planDisney! I am delighted to hear that you are planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth this fall. You picked a wonderful time to visit. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will be in full swing, and happy haunts and Halloween fun will be taking place throughout Walt Disney World. 

    And speaking of fun, those warm autumn days are great for visiting a Disney Water Park! Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are great places to soak up some fun. And with so much to see and do at each park, I can see why both spots are on your must-try list. Currently, both of these locations are scheduled to be open throughout the summer. Details for park availability beyond August are not available just yet. Traditionally, when fall and winter months arrive, there is one water park open, while the other is updated for the warmer season. However, no official announcement has been made at this time!

    Saffron, I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. This is your go-to source for all the latest Disney news, including water park closings and schedule changes. This site will also be the first to report on Food & Wine menus and special offers for your upcoming fall visit!
