I'm booking a dinner reservation for around 730pm, before 9pm parade in MK; I want a good place along the parade route is The Plaza or Liberty Tree good choices? Or is the Crystal Palace better? Disney dining is tough when you've not eaten there! :)

Hi Amanda! Finding the perfect spot to watch the Magic Kingdom parade is always a challenge. When you are adding a dining reservation you do want to be prepared for both.

Main Street is a wonderful location for parade and firework watching but it is also the most popular. To snag a curbside spot means you likely will have to be there up to an hour before the start time. On busier holiday times it can be even earlier. Frontierland is usually a little less crowded until closer to the parade time making this a better bet when you are trying to eat and follow that up with parade watching. I suggest perhaps dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern which also happens to be my husband's favorite spot in this park. Make it early enough so you aren't feeling rushed during dinner and still have time to go out and find a good spot. I suggest 6:30 as a perfect time if possible. If you are finished early there are plenty of things to see and do in that area until you feel it is time to line up.

The Plaza restaurant will be a crowded area and Crystal Palace does not give you the absolute optimum viewing. Liberty Tree is my choice for not only dinner but parade location!
