I'm booking a character meal and was wondering about dining with my 2 year old. At a buffet she eats for free? How would it work at Ariel's Grotto? Would she just eat off our plate? And if she wanted her own meal we can just pay to order off the ki

Greetings Laura! Thank you for taking the time to stop by Disney Parks Moms Panel.

How fun it will be to experience character dining with your 2 year old! She will have a wonderful time meeting her favorite princesses at Ariel's Grotto. You're correct, in that she is free as long as she is sharing the meal with you at Ariel's Grotto. Depending on her appetite and taste preference, she may enjoy her own meal ordered a la carte.

I hope this information helps in planning your upcoming Disneyland Resort trip. Please come back to visit me on the Panel if you have further questions!

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
