I’m booked into magic kingdom for the day but want to go back to the Villa in the afternoon and come back to watch the fireworks at Epcot. Is this aloud or will we only be able to see the fire works on the day we are booked in to Epcot?

    Hi Tracey! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! Only a few more days until you arrive for your magical Walt Disney World holiday! I hope you and your traveling party are ready for all the amazing memories you are bound to make!

I love this day that you have planned. Starting your day on Main Street, U.S.A. in front of Cinderella Castle and ending it with fireworks over the World Showcase Lagoon sounds like the perfect plan. In order to do this, your park tickets will need to have the Park Hopper Option included or added to them. Standard park tickets only allow you to visit one park per day, so if you start at the Magic Kingdom, you will only be able to return here for the evening. The Park Hopper Option allows you to visit multiple parks on the same day. Once you visit the park you made a reservation for in the morning, you can hop to any of the three remaining parks starting at 2 PM.

The first thing you need to do is check what type of tickets you have. Since you are visiting from the UK, it's quite possible that you have Disney Magic Tickets, which are exclusively offered to Guests residing here. These tickets come in 7-day and 14-day increments and also include the Park Hopper Option. You'll be able to hop between parks on any day during your trip. If you do not have these tickets, I would log in to your My Disney Experience account and scroll down to view your tickets. It should state what types of tickets you purchased and if the Park Hopper Option is added to them. If not, you can upgrade your tickets for an additional cost if you wanted to visit multiple parks in one day.

Tracey, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! Just earlier this month, EPCOT Forever returned to the park and is being shown nightly over the World Showcase Lagoon. The Magic Kingdom also saw a return of Happily Ever After to the night sky. I suggest making time to see each of these shows!

    See ya real soon!
