Hi! I’m booked with my 7 family members for magical kingdom Monday jan 3. We have two family members that are elderly and will not be riding in rides. How can I take them off of the genie passes since they will not be riding rides?

    Hi there, Sara!

I’m thrilled to hear that your family is going to be spending some quality time together at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I love that no matter how old we are, from little Mouseketeers to the big ones, Walt Disney World Resort is truly a place where everyone can find magic.

Sara, while the Disney Genie+ service is nonrefundable, if you would like to call and speak to a Cast Member at the Internet Help Desk at 407-939-7765, you are more than welcome to, so that they may look into the issue for you! The Disney Genie+ service also comes with Audio Lenses that your family may love! These are fascinating fun facts, and behind-the-scenes insights Guests can listen to during their visit through the My Disney Experience Mobile app

Although your two family members may not wish to board attractions that may feel too fast, I am happy to tell you that at Walt Disney World Resort, many attractions are safe for most Guests to ride. These attractions do not have a height requirement; thus, they are safe for infants and the elderly to board. Simply head to the Height Requirements page, and you’ll find attractions listed under each theme park. You will want to check out the ones with “Any height” listed next to the attraction. It is these that your family members would be able to enjoy.

I hope you and your family make many magical memories together! Have an enchanting visit, Sara!
