I'm am booked into Disney Port Orleans Riverside this week. I'm curious whether there are running paths around the resort, and approx. what distance the loop may be if so!

Hi Alison! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You are going to love your stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside in just a couple of days! It is truly a beautiful setting with the Sassagoula River, large magnolia trees, and loads of Southern charm.

Speaking of the Sassagoula River, there is a running path along the water and it is just as dreamy as it sounds! One path connects both Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and it is approximately 1.7 miles, while the loop at just Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is approximately 1 mile. Along the water, you should see a sign that says, "New Balance Running Trail" and it includes a map of the entire trail.

In addition to running, there are some other fun recreational outdoor activities like fishing at the Fishin' Hole on Ol' Man Island, bike and surrey bike rentals, and Campfire on de' Bayou. You will have so much fun during your stay!

I hope you have the BEST vacation, Alison! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
