    I'm about to book our honeymoon for June within the next day or so! We can't decide between CBR or Coronado. I've been reading some negative reviews on Coronado regarding the convention center guests. Can you help us decide between the 2?

    Hi, Orinda!

    Both Coronado Springs and Caribbean Beach are beautiful resorts.  Both are sprawling with each having over 2,000 rooms, multiple pools, with buildings surrounding a lovely lake.

    Caribbean Beach has the Caribbean theme with colorful buildings, while Coronado Springs has a more sophisticated feel with its Mexican theme (though the rooms are simply clean and modern.)

    If I had to pick, I would lean toward Coronado Springs. I enjoy the lounge, the huge hot tub, and the nice resort rooms.  I have never been bothered by the convention center attendees, but if you want to avoid them, request a room away from the lobby/restaurants.  Your walk will be longer to get to the dining areas, but it will be very quiet. The advantage to having the convention center, is that it does cater a bit more to an adult crowd (in my opinion!) and has those few extra touches like Cafe Rix and even a Health Club.

    Regardless of the resort you choose, take time to stroll the resort and enjoy the grounds.  Congratulations to you and your fiance!
