I'm a bit confused. On Extra Magic Hour days at the MK, are there 2 welcome shows - one for the EMH opening and another for the general park opening? If there are 2, how far in advance of the shows are guests admitted? Thanks a bunch!

    Hello Sheila!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One of my favorite benefits as a Disney resort hotel Guest is being able to enjoy Extra Magic Hours, especially when they are offered in the morning.

Let the Magic Begin, the opening ceremony where Mickey Mouse and friends greet Guests in a royal celebration right in front of Cinderella Castle, takes place every morning about 5 minutes prior to official park opening. There is no extra show for the days when Extra Magic Hours are offered in the morning at Magic Kingdom Park. My suggestion is to arrive early to enjoy your Extra Magic Hours, and then head for Cinderella Castle to be officially welcomed by your most beloved Disney friends.

I hope this helps you while planning. Thanks for sending your question once again to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sheila.

    Best magical wishes,
