I'm a bit confused about the rider swap. If the first riders in the group have fast pass to ride. Do the second group of riders also need to have fast passes? So do all riders need fast passes to use the rider swap benefit? Thank you.

    Hello Melissa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question!

Rider Switch is a great service that allows a group of Guests to wait with a child or person who cannot ride a certain attraction while other members of their group play and have fun, and then later this group can return to the attraction during a designated time window and enjoy it without having to wait in the regular line.

Guests either in the first or second group do not need to have a FastPass+ selection for the attraction they are requesting a Rider Switch pass. If the members of the first group have a FastPass+ they are welcome to use it, otherwise they can wait in the stand by line. The second group will enter the attraction with their digital pass using the FastPass+ line in both cases.

I hope this helps you while planning, Melissa! Please stop by real soon if you have additional questions.

    Best magical wishes,
