I'm a bit confused with the way Fantastic works now with Fastpass. We used to head to the second show after the fireworks and sit on the ground by the water...does this mean we can't do this anymore?

    Hi Kelly!

First, thanks so much for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love helping guests plan their upcoming visits to Disneyland Resort.

Fantasmic! is one of the best attractions at the parks and on certain days, it does have 2 shows. Make sure to check the schedule on the days you are arriving to ensure they will have that 2nd show. The FASTPASS is offered in a few different ways to ensure you get the best seats in the house, including right by the water!

Same day FASTPASS tickets for Fantasmic! are available as soon as Disneyland Park opens at the FASTPASS Service machines along Big Thunder Trail in Frontierland. These are quite popular, but you will not be able to choose which showtime you receive. They distribute the early showtime first and then after those run out, the 2nd showtime is then distributed.

If that option doesn’t work with your schedule or visit, there are new Fantastmic! Dining Packages that offer advance reservations with a dining package, an On-The-Go Package at Aladdin's Oasis and even a Dessert Party Package. There are lots of ways to enjoy the show!

I hope this helps with your planning and feel free to ask us more questions as you plan your visit!

    Have a magical day!
