Im a big Disney freak & have been going to WDW every year since 98! Im 18 now & graduate. A first timer friend may come w/ in March & it will be her 16th bday. Any tips for us to both celebrate & make it special for both of us?

    Hi, Courtney!

Not to worry; we're all big Disney freaks here on the Moms Panel! We share your obsession! :-)

There are so many wonderful ways to commemorate a special occasion at Walt Disney World, especially both a graduation as well as a first visit. Be sure to pick up complimentary Celebration Recognition Buttons once you're at the parks. Cast Members and Guests alike will go out of their way to offer their good wishes to you throughout your stay. It's a lot of fun...and it's free!

Next, Take a look at options from Disney Floral & Gifts. You'll be amazed at the variety of packages available to help mark a special event while in WDW; perhaps one or two of them will be just what you're looking for to help commemorate your special occasions.

Of course, enjoying the parks while seeing them through the eyes of a first-timer is fantastic, too, so consider pre-purchasing a PhotoPass + at a discount; you'll have countless memories captured for years of future enjoyment. PhotoPass + enables Guests to access all of their PhotoPass pics as well as most attraction photos too. It's a great deal.

Finally, consider picking up a special souvenir for each of you, such as birthday and graduation ears, so that you'll both always remember where you spent that special time...in Walt Disney World!

Send more questions as you think of them, Courtney; I'd love to help you plan a fantastic, magical trip to WDW! And congratulations, too!
