Hello, I'm in the beginning stages of planning my WDW vacation and so far I'm leaning towards the Disney Dining Plan Plus in the Magic Your Way package. I'll be traveling with my husband, 6yo daugher and 4yo son. I'm wondering if this is the right option

    Hi Stacey,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. For me planning my Walt Disney World Resort Vacation is almost as fun as the trip itself!  Choosing a dining plan is an important part of your vacation, and it depends on how you would like to dine while on vacation.  My family enjoys having a nice, table service meal every day, it gives us some family time away from the theme parks, while still being part of the Disney Magic.

The Disney Dining Plan is great for family's that would like to have a nice meal every day of your vacation.  A Table-Service meal will typically take anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours from start to finish, leaving plenty of time in the parks.  you are also given one Quick-Service meal and one snack per night.  For us it offers the best of both worlds, and we find this option to be enough for our family's dining needs on vacation.

If you aren't sure that you would like to have a table service meal daily, I would suggest to look at the Quick Service Dining Plan.  This plan offers two Quick-Service meals and one snack per night.  On the other hand, if you would like even more sit down, Table-Service meals, I would suggest looking at the Deluxe Dining Plan.  This plan offers three Table-Service meals per night, as well as two snacks.  My family frequently chooses this option because we do enjoy many of the Signature Dining options and Dinner shows.

I hope my answer will help make your dining choices a little easier Stacey.  If you have any other questions while planning your vacation, please let me know.  I would be happy to help!
