Hey Howdy Hey Stephen and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you so much for your question about the details of your travel party for your trip next year. I will be happy to assist you with this.
One of the best parts about planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is the flexibility of changing your plans. Disney realizes that many people plan their trips far ahead of the dates of travel and life happens and things change. Looking over the
terms and conditions of vacation packages will help to give a little more insight into the changes you are asking about.
Once you do decide on a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, park tickets and dates, the next step would be reserving your vacation package which usually comes with a down payment. Full payment would be due 30 days before your date of arrival and you are free to make whatever changes are necessary depending on what happens with your travel party, tickets, etc up until this time. Any change that is made within the 30 days is subject to a $50 change fee with a fee amount subject to change.
A tip that I give anyone planning a trip to Walt Disney World is to consider travel insurance. Anything can happen before or during your trip and travel insurance gives you further peace of mind that many things on your vacation are accounted for.
Disney does offer a travel insurance plan that you can add onto your vacation up until the final payment due date. You are also free to shop around for travel insurance from other parties as well. Just make sure to read the policy and have it specifically address any issues you may foresee that will apply to your party.
I hoped this help clear up any concerns you might have as you start planning for your Magical vacation. Please feel free to stop back and let us know if you have any further questions, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
