Welcome back, Aiden! We're really happy that you have stopped by with multiple questions! It's so much fun to plan a
Disney Cruise Line vacation, so please pop back with any others you might have too! We're really happy to help!
It sounds like you couldn't be staying much closer to the port unless you were sleeping in the terminal itself! Wow! .1 miles away is close! The terminal usually opens about 11:00 a.m., and boarding begins around 11:30 or noon. However, as you know, you'll need to choose a
Port Arrival Time so that Disney knows when to expect you at port, and you'll do this during your online check-in.
If you do get a later Port Arrival Time, no worries. You're certainly welcome to arrive whenever you'd like, however you may have to wait a longer time in the port terminal if you're earlier than expected. I suggest that if you do have a later time, you take the latest hotel check out that you can and then head over to the port. Once there, you'll go through security and then check in at the terminal desks for your cruise! You'll be given a boarding number and once that is called, it'll be time for your family to make your way onboard the ship and begin that magical adventure at sea!
Even if you find yourself waiting in the port terminal for a bit, you'll be so excited that your cruise is about to begin, it won't be so bad! Plus, Mickey and Minnie tend to pop out to visit guests in the cruise terminal, so take some time to pose with them for some pre-cruise pictures!
As I said, Aiden, we'd love for you to stop back with any other questions that you might have about your cruise! Isn't it exciting as you count down these last months until you set sail?
Happy planning!
