I'm aware you can send Amazon packages to your resort a week before your reservation. But what happens if those packages arrive earlier than that and the front desk holds them for more than a week? Are they send to the sender?

    Hello there, Michelle!

I always have such a tough time packing for my Walt Disney World Resort vacations because I always try to match my purses to my outfits, and I find it so fun to match my outfits to the theme park themes. Unfortunately, this always results in an overstuffed piece of luggage, but it always works out in the end!

I think it’s so convenient that Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guests can receive mail throughout their stay. I know some Guests like to ship items in advance of their vacation to alleviate any luggage space struggles, too. I spoke with a friendly Cast Member, and they confirmed that the package will not be returned to the sender if it arrives a bit early, but you are better off trying to have the package arrive during your vacation.

If you plan on having any packages delivered to your Disney Resort hotel, make sure to include the following information on the package: the mailing address of your Disney Resort hotel, the word “Guest” on the front with your name, and the date of your arrival.

Please note that there will also be a small package handling fee for all packages received through the Front Desk or delivered to your Disney Resort hotel room. I always like to make sure that I tip Bell Services staff for delivering packages to my room. I hope these tips help you prepare for your stay.

May the magic be with you!
