I'm aware there are kiddie play areas, including water play @ the theme parks and would like to know how best to prepare my 4 yr old daughter for this area of play? I worry about her soaking up and then not being comfortable to enjoy the rides.

Hi, Natalie!   My kids are now 9 and 6, and I still carry an extra set of clothes for them when I go into the parks.   Between the fountains, attractions with water, and Mickey ice cream bars melting down the front of them, they can become a real mess!    I usually keep a gallon sized ziploc bag for each of them in my backpack with a fresh set of clothes (I only do this when it is hot, the messes and water disasters seem less when the weather is cooler!)  This way, if they mess up what they are wearing, they can change into something clean and dry, then the yucky, wet, or dirty stuff gets zipped away into a bag.

Once you flatten the air out of the bag, this takes up very little room in your backpack or tote and is well worth it for those unexpected moments!

Have a great time on your WDW vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
