Tim from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I’m aware of the 60 days prior to make a dining reservation, today is that day for me, and there is still no times of availability for both restaurants I want to make a reservation for, why is that?

    Welcome to planDisney, Tim!

I always get so excited about booking restaurants for an upcoming Disney vacation. There are so many great places to choose from. Having some dining reservations on the calendar only increases the excitement for a trip.

You're absolutely correct that you can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of a trip. I'm sorry so hEAR that you've been having problems making dining reservations at your desired restaurants. This has happened to me before. So you're not alone. Restaurant reservations usually open at 3:00 AM (PT), however, some restaurants add more tables later in the day, depending on availability. I found that trying every 15/30 minutes has yielded some results in the past. Suddenly, tables would be available for a restaurant that had no availability an hour earlier. Therefore, I'd encourage you to keep trying, and hopefully, you'll be able to book the restaurants you set your heart on.

It's also possible that the restaurant you wanted to book filled up very quickly. This can happen with some of the more popular restaurants, like Blue Bayou and Napa Rose. If that's the case, then you have a couple of options. 1) You can keep checking in case there are any cancelations. 2) Take advantage of the Mobile Dine Walk-Up option. First, check to see if your desired restaurant is participating. Then, on the day of your visit, arrive at the theme park as soon as it opens. Head straight to your desired restaurant and join the walk-up list by scanning the QR code located near the restaurant entrance. This is a great way to try and get a table if you don't have reservations. The main downside is that you'll just have to be flexible when it comes to the time you'd like to eat. This doesn't guarantee you a reservation, but I know many people who've been able to secure a table this way.

I hope that's helpful, Tim. I'll be wishing upon a star that you're able to find the reservations you're hoping for.
