I'm in Australia and am planning for 10 nights in Oct. I have a 5yo girl & 3yo boy who are anaphylactic to milk, eggs and all nuts. Will they be able to dine with the characters? We normally take ALL our food, will we be be able to safely feed them at

    Hi, Kelly!

I would suggest contacting Disney directly if you have specific dietary requests.   As you will read HERE, Disney does its very best to accommodate all allergies.    There are email addresses listed there where you can contact Disney Dining with your concerns.

You should also feel free to ask for the chef at any restaurant.  Many times I have seen the chef come out to speak to guests about ingredients and food preparation to ensure the safety of everyone (plus it is a great chance to get your kids' picture with the very talented Disney chefs!)

Read through the highlighted page above, and make sure to mention your dietary needs when making dining reservations, when being seated, and when ordering.   As a parent, I feel you can never be too cautious!   The cast members are well informed and will be accommodating to your needs whenever possible.

Wishing you and your Mouseketeers a magcial Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
