Bonjour!
Welcome to planDisney, Sheridan! Thank you for visiting us with your question today about your trip to
Disneyland Paris this summer. If you ask me, having a countdown to a Disney Destination on the horizon makes every day a little bit brighter!
I can see that you are travelling to France, all the way from Australia, so I can understand you want to be able to plan your meals to avoid certain allergens. Sheridan, across the European Union, 14 allergens must be listed if they have been used as an ingredient, and one of those is gluten.
Buffet restaurants across the Disney Parks and Disney Hotels will offer the broadest range of foods for a set price. I have experienced many of the buffet-style restaurants, and I would recommend
Agrabah Cafe Restaurant, I say this because of its Middle Eastern theme, it offers a wide selection of salads, olives, and vegetables. Please make your server aware of your allergy, and they will provide a folder with details of all allergens in foods across the buffet. Please note there is a good chance this will be in French, however, Cast Members can speak English and will be more than happy to help you. It may be possible that your choices could be brought out directly from the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination.
A couple of other recommendations are for quick service, Cowboy Cookout in Frontierland, and for table service check out the menus for Captain Jacks in Adventureland and Chez Remy over at Walt Disney Studios Park.
Please be aware though, that although Disneyland Paris has very high food preparation standards, there is the potential risk of cross-contamination.
You can find menus and prices for all Disneyland Paris restaurants in the
Disneyland Paris app. If you haven't downloaded it yet, I highly recommend you do. If you have booked a Hotel + Ticket Package you will be able to book your dining reservations as soon as you link your reservation to the app. If you are staying off site you can start to book dining reservations 60 days ahead of your stay.
Now let's talk about
Disney Premier Access! This service allows you to skip the regular standby queue at some of the most popular attractions at the two Disney Parks. There are two options, Access Ultimate which allows one-time access to multiple attractions, and Access One which allows you to pick the attraction you want to experience at a given return time. I have enjoyed using both of these services and have chosen to book them on the day of my visit. If you are visiting on a public holiday I would advise booking Premier Access as soon as your booking window opens.
I hope this helps to answer your questions, Sheridan. I hope you have a brilliant time visiting Disneyland Paris, and enjoy some delicious gluten-free food! If you have further planning questions, please
reach out to me. I'd love to help!
Have a magical day,
Matt
