Hi, I’m an Aussie here and excited about the upcoming Disney Cruises finally being down under! Will DVC members be able to book for the Australian/New Zealand cruises with DVC points? Is there anywhere I can find more information? Thanks!

Ahoy there, Michael! Welcome to planDisney and Welcome Home! Thanks for stopping by with such a great Disney Vacation Club question. Being able to chat about magical holidays with a fellow Member just makes my day!

I seriously squealed with delight when I heard that Disney Cruise Line will be sailing Down Under to New Zealand and Australia, and my daughter is now wishing upon a star that she will be able to travel to see where Bluey lives. I know that you Aussies must be bursting with excitement to be able to board these incredible sailings right from your backyard, so let's get this planning party started!

Let's just keep your excitement building, shall we?! I think you will be happy to hear that yes, as a DVC Member, you will be able to book one of the new New Zealand & Australia Cruises using your DVC Reservation Points. To book through DVC Member Services, you need to book your cruise reservation using all Points or any combination of Points and cash per Guest, as long as you use Points for at least one Guest's reservation. Once your booking window opens, just call Member Services at 800-8009-8000.

More great news coming your way, Michael! Eligible DVC Members will be able to book their Disney Magic at Sea adventure one full day before the booking window opens for all Guests, so be ready to book your cruise on September 28, 2022! I have a feeling that these cruises will be super popular, so be sure to reserve your spot as soon as possible!

I spoke with a helpful Cast Member with DVC Member Services who informed me that unfortunately, the DVC Points Charts for the New Zealand & Australia Cruises have not yet been released. But he did say that the Points and booking information should be coming to them soon and in time for booking. In the meantime, I suggest checking out the New Zealand & Australia Cruises page on the Disney Cruise Line website for the cruise dates, itineraries and more oh-so-fun information on these unique sailings. Happy booking and sailing, Michael!

I hope this was helpful, Michael, and I hope you book the cruise of your dreams! Please feel free to stop by any time with any holiday planning or DVC questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    Adventure is out there!
