Hi! I’m attending Oogie Boogie bash this October and I had a few questions regarding costumes. I started making my own Oogie Boogie costume from scratch and wearing green face paint to match his face. Is this ok?

Hey there, Jaclyn! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so excited to hear that you are heading to Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party next month!

I was able to experience my first Oogie Boogie Bash just last weekend and I had so much fun! I did see other adults with face painting, so I think you may be okay with that. I suggest taking some time to familiarize yourself with the costume guidelines for the event to make sure everything is a-okay with your costume. I'd also just keep in mind that Disney reserves the right to remove or deny entry to anyone violating the costume guidelines unless the Guest's costume can be modified or removed to meet standards.

After experiencing my first Oogie Boogie Bash, I have a few tips for you. I definitely recommend going in with a game plan on what you really want to accomplish. I thought we'd have plenty of time to experience everything and we were definitely scrambling to make it to the last few treat trails before the end of the night. I'd also mobile order your dinner or snacks in advance to make sure you can easily and quickly get a bite to eat. Things do get busy at food locations, especially if you are wanting an event-exclusive item.

Jaclyn, thanks again for stopping by! I hope you have a spooktacular time and are able to meet Mr. Oogie Boogie himself at his treat trail!
