I'm attending the MVMCP and CLP this Dec.with my in-laws. They are in wheel chairs and I would like to know where to stand with them and how far in advance should we arrive? Thank you!

Hi Bill! Walt Disney World is the best choice for a place to bring wheelchair bound family members to enjoy Christmas events. Disney goes well beyond accommodating and truly strives to be accessible and welcoming to guests with special needs.

At Epcot's Candlelight Processional handicapped seating will be available for your in-laws that will allow them to stay in their wheelchairs. A Cast Member will show you where to sit. Plan to arrive an hour or more in advance. You might wish to consider a Candlelight Dining Package which will cut your wait time considerably and guarantees you a seat at the event.

Attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be the same as visiting the Magic Kingdom as far as wheelchair accessibility goes. Handicapped viewing areas will be available for the parade and fireworks just as during normal park hours. With lighter crowds during the party your in-laws should find maneuvering around the park easier during this event.
