Hello Filipina! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Like you, I enjoy taking advantage of the early access granted to guests before
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. My family gets settled, has a sit-down meal at Be Our Guest with Advanced Dining Reservations and gets some early shopping done before the Event begins.
One thing I try my best to do, however, is book Advanced Dining Reservations a little later than the "not set in stone" 4pm early admittance for
Guests of Special Events. On the nights of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Cast Members will set up a special entrance for the Special Event where Guests can receive their wristbands and enter Magic Kingdom without requiring general admission.
The setup for this entrance is up to the discretion of Cast Members and is not guaranteed to open for Guests at exactly 4pm. This makes your
Advanced Dining Reservations determinate on being first in line for the Special Event kiosk and entering at exactly 4pm in order to make it on time.
Cast Members will not grant you access earlier than the opening of the Special Event entrance because you have Adavanced Dining Reservations.
I recommend that you try to obtain later Advanced Dining Reservations for a time later than 4:30pm in order to enter Magic Kingdom and make it to your dining location in time. Personally, I have booked Advanced Dining Reservations for after 5pm on nights for Special Events and never had an issue.
Have a Very Merry Visit!
