Hello, Edelia,
You are right that a theme park reservation must be made to go along with your
theme park ticket. If you purchase your ticket directly from the
Disneyland app or the Disneyland Resort website, the normal purchase process will include a step to select the date you wish to use your ticket or dates in the case of multi-day tickets. As you complete the purchase process, those dates will automatically be tied to your ticket as the selected theme park reservations. If you purchased your ticket from another vendor, you can
link your ticket with your Disneyland Resort account and then proceed to the
theme park reservation page to make your date selections. In either case, you may return to the “
My Theme Park Reservations” page to verify that you are fully prepared with both a ticket and a park reservation and to make theme park reservation changes, if needed.
Tony’s Tip: To find your theme park tickets in the Disneyland app, tap into the “Tickets and Passes” screen. To check your theme park reservations in the Disneyland app, tap into the “Future Plans” screen, which also includes any upcoming
dining reservations you may have. On the day of your visit to the parks, tap into the “Tip Board” and “My Genie Day” screens to access your complimentary Disneyland Resort guide: the
Disney Genie Service.
I hope you have a magical time at The Happiest Place on Earth, Edelia. Should you have any more questions about visiting the Disneyland Resort, we’d love to hear from you again.
~Tony
