Im attempting to upgrade my three day park hopper to a Socal Resident magic key pass, which states is currently available on the website. How may I go about doing so.

Hello there, Camila! Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for bringing us your ticket question!

Oh boy! I am sorry you are having some technical difficulties. Unfortunately, Magic Keys are not currently for sale. However, I am happy to report that they will resume sales on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. Since you mentioned Socal Resident, I wonder if you are talking about the SoCal Resident Ticket Offer and not a Magic Key. If you already have a 3-day park hopper, it will not let you modify your ticket to SoCal Resident Ticket Offer because the new ticket would be less than your original ticket purchase. Tickets can only be modified if they are being upgraded to a ticket of equal or greater value.

If you are hoping to get a Magic Key when they go on sale this week and would like to upgrade your ticket there are a few things to know. If your ticket is unused, you will need to upgrade your ticket in person at the Ticket Booths in the Esplanade between the two parks. If your ticket is partially used, you will be able to upgrade the ticket in the Disneyland app. You can find lots of helpful information in the How To Guide so that you can be prepared to purchase your Magic Key when sales go live.

Camila, I hope this information was helpful. If you still have ticket questions please stop by again. We are always here to help!
