Hello, I'm assuming the answer is no but figured i should ask anyway...does a woman who is 5 mths pregnant qualify for the GAC? Thank you!

    Hi Julie!

The Guest Assistance Card (GAC) is designed to provide assistance to Guests with disabilities and special needs so that they may have access to some attractions that they may not otherwise be able to enjoy. Disney is great at providing different types of assistance to Guests. Some examples include:

    * Hearing Disability Services (i.e., Assistive listening; handheld captioning; reflective captioning, sign language interpretation and others).
    * Visual Disability Services (i.e., audio description, Braille guidebooks, Stationary Braille maps)
    * Mobility Disability Services (i.e., wheelchair and ECV rentals, special attraction vehicles, handicapped accessible rooms).  Many of the queues have been mainstreamed to accommodate wheelchairs and ECVs but if not, there will be alternate entrances to help accommodate those Guests.

I am a very active person and I traveled to Disney several times during both of my pregnancies and did fine. I am not aware of your situation.  I am a not a doctor and I do not play one on TV but I think most pregnant  women do fine and unless a pregnant Guest has a disability or a complication as a result of the pregnancy, a GAC is not needed.

Be sure to consult the signs posted at each attraction and on the park Guide Maps which includes health and safety advisories. There are some attractions that pregnant women should avoid. If you ever feel that you are experiencing any health related issues while in any of the theme or water parks, be sure to notify the nearest Cast Member or feel free to visit the First Aid Location.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
