I'm arriving on a Saturday in January with my 4 years old son. What park would you recommend ?considering I'll get to it in mid or late afternoon and that it is a Saturday

    Bonjour Francis,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

I would recommend visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios on your Saturday “arrival” day at Walt Disney World Resort. This will give you the opportunity to see the newly opened Toy Story Land and all of its attractions, including Slinky Dog Dash, which might be a big hit if your son is a thrill seeker and meets the attraction’s height requirement. Plus, because I find it hard to fill an entire day at that Theme Park with a little one, you should be able to hit most of the highlights if you arrive before 4:00 pm.

That being said, if Disney’s Hollywood Studios closes early that day, I’d recommend a visit to Magic Kingdom Park instead as it typically has later closing hours than the other Theme Parks, especially in January.

One big tip: make sure that you make your FastPass+ selections as soon as your selection window opens (up to 60 days before your arrival if you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or up to 30 days before your visit if you aren’t). Toy Story Land is extremely popular with Guests and selections for that land go very quickly.

I hope my answer helps you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également me poser des questions en français!

    Have a Magical Day,
