Hello, I'm arriving at 4:06 pm in Orlando, taking the magical express to the Caribbean Beach resort and planning on heading to Disney Springs for Dinner at 7:00pm. Do you think this is possible or should I make a later reservation? Its our first trip.

    Hello, Krystal,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Taking Disney's Magical Express is such an a lovely perk when staying at a Disney-owned resort. I love the convenience of having my luggage delivered to my room rather than having to take the time to pick it up on my own (this is available for flights arriving between 5 AM and 10 PM). I also really appreciate that this transportation is complimentary!

Typically, the trip from the airport to Walt Disney World takes around 30 minutes; however, you may be stopping at several resorts.  If you are the last resort stop, the trip could take over an hour if not longer.
I think overall, though, that a 3 hour window to arrive at Disney Springs for your dinner reservation is probably workable if you don't have any flight delays.  To help expedite your check-in time, you may want to do an Online Check-In beforehand.

If you are still second guessing this, you could certainly try to move the reservation to a later time. Then if you don't have any delays and really want to eat earlier, stop by the restaurant and see if that is a possibility.  We've done that before and more often than not the restaurant was able to seat us. If not, there is plenty to do at Disney Springs while you wait.

Wishing you a magical first trip!  Please let us know if we can help with any further questions. -Kara
