Hiya, Wendy! I'm thrilled you flew by planDisney as you have just a week to go before your trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth! Now, it sounds like your adventure is having a bit of a less-than-magical start. I'm sorry! Let's walk through some of the possibilities to see if we can find some Pixie Dust to solve this mystery quickly.
Away we goooooo!Lightning Lane passes can be purchased seven days before your trip if you have a reservation at a
Disney Resorts Collection or other qualified hotel. Since other people in your party can buy them today, assuming you are all staying together, the first thing I would do is check that you are linked to the hotel reservation. Go to "
My Plans and Tickets" to see if the reservation appears on your account. If not, a person in your party should be able to modify the reservation to add you, assuming the room has capacity.
You should also make sure you are using the same
MyDisney account for your hotel reservation, theme park tickets and Lightning Lane purchase. That brings me to another thing to check: theme park admission. Make sure your
tickets are linked to your account. Again, on My Plans and Tickets page, scroll down to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" and select the "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" tab. Check that you have valid theme park admission for your January 3 trip.
If you have your hotel and tickets linked, you should be able to get your Lightning Lane passes along with everyone else in your party. After trying this, if you are still having issues, please
call and ask a Cast Member for assistance. I would start with the App and MagicBand Support line.
I hope you get this resolved and that it won't be long before your Lightning Lane Passes appear in your plans on the
My Disney Experience app. Please come see us again at
planDisney with any other questions, and we'll hope they are all magical planning questions after a practically perfect trip!
Think of the Happiest Things!
