Hi Vivian! Welcome back to planDisney!
It looks like you will be heading to the Most Magical Place on Earth VERY soon! You have such a special trip planned with a day at Magic Kingdom Park on your agenda. There is nothing quite like strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., and catching a glimpse of Cinderella Castle. How exciting!
You'll find that most transportation at the Walt Disney World Resort states that it begins 45 minutes before the theme park's opening. However, I was just there this past week and all the transportation was beginning earlier than that, with the theme parks opening early as well.
Magic Kingdom Park opened 45 minutes early on our first day there, and 40 minutes early on our second visit last week. The rides weren't operating when we first entered, but it did give us the chance to begin lining up for the most popular attractions (and get some great pictures with light crowds!) while relieving the crowd congestion outside of the theme park entrance. There should be a sign posted that will give you the most current hours for
boat transportation when you arrive, but I suggest arriving a little early to make sure you are one of the first on the boat that morning.
Magic Kingdom Park is PERFECT for those traveling with little ones because
almost all of the attractions don't have a height requirement at all!
Space Mountain has the tallest height requirement at 44",
Splash Mountain and
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad are both 40",
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is 38",
The Barnstormer is 35", and
Tomorrowland Speedway is 32". Every other ride is perfect for everyone!
I hope you have the best vacation, Vivian! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
