I'm arriving Christmas Day and wanted to order grocery items. Will my Disney Resort accept an order on the 24th? Or do I need to wait until the 26th?

Hey Jennifer, welcome back to planDisney! I'm so excited to chat with you today, especially now that I know you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth on Christmas Day! Can you believe it? That's like a dream come true! I can't wait to hear all about the fantastic memories you'll make during your vacation and the special moments with your family. I hope you also got lucky and snagged some Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets to make this experience even more unique and unforgettable.

Here's some great news, Jennifer: you can have groceries delivered to your Disney Resorts Collection hotel any day of the year. Bell Services will receive them from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM on your behalf, so you can rest assured that everything will be taken care of. Now, let me share a few details to ensure you have a fantastic experience on your arrival day.

As you know, you can use any grocery delivery app or store in the Orlando area, but because it's a holiday, it's a good idea to double-check if your favourite stores will be open on that day. If you've got any alcoholic items on your list, you'll need to be present to accept them. Also, if anything needs to be refrigerated, add this to your delivery notes so the Cast Member can take care of it for you.

Here's a great tip: add the word "GUEST" before your name, the same name you used on your Resort reservation, and your arrival date so they can better accommodate your order. I like to order groceries to be delivered a couple of hours before my intended arrival time, and then add it to my check-in notes or call the Resort and ask for it to be delivered to my room for some extra convenience. After all, we're on vacation, right? We deserve this! A nominal fee of $6 (at the time of writing, subject to change) is added to all orders delivered to your room, but you can always just swing like Tarzan by Bell Services and pick it up yourself for free.

I hope this helps, Jennifer. Please feel free to come back anytime and ask us more questions before, during, or after your trip. We're always here and happy to help out a fantastic friend like you.

    Cheers
    Nilson
