Hey there, Stephanie. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I too will be visiting Walt Disney World in early March. It's such a nice time of year to go. The crowds can be relatively low and the weather is just perfect. I know you are going to have a great time!
Driving to Walt Disney World is something I know a thing or two about, Stephanie. Typically I drive down from NC about once a month to visit the most magical place on earth. Did you know that as a resort Guest, if you choose to drive yourself to the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks you'll be able to park your car for free? It's such a great perk! I always like to pack a little cooler of drinks to keep in the car. It's so refreshing to have a cold water waiting for you after a long day in the parks.
When you checked in online via the app, did you specify what time you would be arriving? If not, log back into your account and modify your online check-in to reflect the late arrival time. I don't foresee any problems once you arrive. As a resort Guest, you won't even need to stop at the guard shack before continuing on to your room. Your MagicBand will open the gate to let you through. When your room is ready, on the day of your arrival, you will receive a text message with your room number and directions on how to locate it. There will be no need to stop by the front desk once you arrive, no matter the time. If you are still a little nervous about how late it will be, give Guest Services a call. It can be reassuring to speak to someone in person and they will be able to make a note of your arrival time on your account. Guest Services can be reached by calling (407) 938-4000.
I think you are going to have so much fun staying at
Disney's Pop Century Resort. I love all of the larger-than-life memorabilia that decks this resort out. It's a really fun trip down memory lane. Something I also love about staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort is the addition of the
Disney Skyliner. The Disney Skyliner connects Disney's Pop Century Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot via a highway in the sky. It's really convenient and a fun view of Walt Disney World property.
I hope this helps ease your mind about your late arrival, Stephanie. If you have any other questions before your trip, please do come back and ask.
Have fun!
