Greetings, Angel, and welcome to planDisney! I love that you're planning to stay at a Disneyland Resort hotel. It's a great way to fully immerse yourself in the Disney magic we all know and love.
Let’s talk about your early arrival. While you can check in at the hotel's Front Desk or through the
Disneyland mobile app early, hotel rooms aren't typically ready until around 3 p.m. on check-in day. If the arrival date on your reservation is October 24, and you arrive at 4 a.m. that morning, your room will most likely not be available yet.
That said, you can still complete the check-in process and store your luggage at the hotel's Bell Desk. That way, you won't have to cart your bags around all day. Just keep in mind that the security entrances and the
Downtown Disney District don’t usually open until closer to the theme park opening time. The hotel pool areas and dining locations typically don't open until 7 a.m. or 8 a.m., as well. For these reasons, I'd recommend arriving at the hotel closer to 7 a.m. instead of 4 a.m. if possible.
If having a room ready as soon as you arrive is important, Angel, you might want to book an extra night beginning on October 23. That way, your room would be ready even in the early morning hours. Perhaps you can even adjust your arrival time to make the most of your expanded reservation. If you do plan to get there late at night, I recommend calling the hotel's front desk to give them a heads-up.
As a Disneyland Resort hotel Guest, you will receive
early entry into a designated theme park each day you are checked in. That includes the date of your arrival, if you are there early enough, which it sounds like you will be. You'll either tap your room key or show the Cast Member that you have an active reservation on your phone. The theme park that offers early entry changes depending on the day of the week. October 24, 2025, is a Friday, and typically, California Adventure offers early entry on Fridays. Make sure you have a theme park reservation for that park if you plan to take advantage of early entry.
And Angel, try to set some time aside during your trip to explore the hotel. There are plenty of
activities for hotel Guests to enjoy, such as movie nights under the stars, drawing sessions, and hotel tours. Ask the front desk for a schedule when you check in. The pool areas are fantastic, too. Waterslides, multiple pools, whirlpools, and more are waiting for you!
I know this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, Angel. However, I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue planning your visit. If you have any additional questions, please stop by. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Wishing you magic,
Kriss
