Hi Kayla,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and hello to a fellow Canadian! My family has visited Walt Disney World in springtime for the last three years, and it really is a wonderful time to visit. I think you and your son are going to make the most magical memories.
The
Everything POP Shopping & Dining food court at Disney’s Pop Century Resort has had a great selection of milk options when I’ve checked in the past. I’ve seen almond milk there for sure, and I think Lactaid. If you don’t see any options in the refrigerator case, ask if you can speak to the chef. Sometimes they keep the lactose-free options in the back, and they’re always happy to check.
Kayla, you can email the
Special Diets team at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com to ask about the availability of milk alternatives at your resort. I recommend doing this about a month before your vacation, and at least 14 days in advance.
Did you know that there are allergy-friendly menus at most Walt Disney World Quick-Service and Table Service restaurants? Just ask a Cast Member and they will be happy to assist you. You can also ask to have the chef walk you through any buffet line and point out allergy-friendly options, and they can provide separately prepared options as well. I hear the chef at Everything POP Shopping & Dining can even make dairy-free Mickey Waffles, which I bet your little guy would love!
Kayla, please come back and see us if you have any questions as you do your Disney dreaming, and check out Disney's great
Planning Guide for vacationing with little ones.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
