I'm so anxious to book/plan our Disney trip for October, but I've been holding off and hoping free dining becomes available. Can I book my room and tickets and if free dining does come along, can I add the promo? Any word/rumors of free dining? Thanks!

Yes, go ahead and book your vacation now! This will insure that there is availability at the resort of your choice. For instance, I'm working on my family's trip to WDW in October. Last week, my first choice resort had no standard rooms left for our dates.

If you book now, you can absolutely call and ask for a new promotion to be applied to your reservation. As long as the promo is available for your dates and specific resort, it will be added to your reservation upon your request. You will have to call and ask. It won't be done automatically.

No idea about free dining offers. The WDW Moms Panel learns of new promotions at the same time as the general public.

Last year, free dining offers were released in July and then August for October vacation dates.

Have fun planning your WDW vacation!
