Bright Suns, Lana!
Hooray for spontaneous trips to the Most Magical Place on Earth! As you know, beginning April 18, 2023, Walt Disney World Resort
Annual Passholders don't need a theme park reservation if we plan on visiting the theme parks after 2 p.m. Of course, we'll still need one if we want to visit any park before that time, or if we're visiting
Magic Kingdom Park at any time on Saturdays and Sundays. When I first heard the news, as a fellow Annual Passholder, I couldn't believe it! But alas! It is our new reality, Lana.
Because May the 4th has no
blockout dates for any of the annual passes and it is after April 18, you may absolutely visit after 2 p.m. without a theme park reservation, per the new policy. However, there is a chance that the theme park, assumedly
Disney's Hollywood Studios, can reach capacity. So, get there as close to 2 p.m. as you can, and be on the look out for park capacity messages in the
My Disney Experience App.
AN EXTRA GEM: I see that the Disney Parks Blog is full of updates about the
Star Wars franchise because of this month's
Star Wars Celebration Europe. One announcement that caught my eye that you'll love to hear is that the attraction
Star Tours will include even more stories and characters in 2024. That will make for an even more epic celebration in the parks next year!
If you have any other questions about any of your upcoming visits, please
revisit us here at planDisney, Lana. I really hope that you can experience the energy in Batuu next month--there's always a fun crowd. May the FOURTH be with you!
Magic always,
LeAndra
