Howdy Jessica!
Welcome to planDisney. I’m so happy to hear that you are an annual passholder. We decided to become passholders since we travel to Walt Disney World so regularly. Let’s see what we can do about answering your question.
Alrighty, so according to the
Annual Passholder Program page, you may visit the theme parks without a theme park reservation on a good-to-go day or after 2:00 PM (except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom park). So what that means is if you wanted to start at the Magic Kingdom on that Sunday, you would need a park reservation. Since it looks like the Sunday you would like to attend is not a good-to-go day, you will just need to make a park reservation for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and then once you have completed your day there, you may hop over to the Magic Kingdom.
I’m not sure if you knew this, but you can now make park reservations in the
My Disney Experience app. From the home screen, tap on the 3 bars (≡) at the bottom right-hand corner, then scroll down to Park Reservations, and from here you can choose the reservation for Guests with Tickets or Annual Passes.
One last thing I would like to share is to be sure and check out the passholder BUZZ section of the My Disney Experience app for the latest passholder news and information. The latest passholder magnet was recently released, featuring characters from Toy Story.
Jessica, I hope this helps with your park hopping day at the parks. Please stop by anytime here at
planDisney, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
See ya real soon,
Robert
