If I’m an Annual Passholder with a New Year’s Eve EPCOT reservation, regardless of capacity closures, does my reservation still guarantee entry if it is my first park of the day (not a re-entry) and I have a valid reservation?

    Hello,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this question! New Year’s Eve at EPCOT is on my bucket list, so if you don’t mind I will live vicariously through you. I have plenty of friends and family members who love ringing in the new year at the parks, and I have heard nothing but amazing things. Let’s get you ready for this celebration.

Kristen, being an Annual Passholder allows you to enjoy the magic all year long. And right as the year is coming to a close, you are visiting the best party inside of a Disney park. Making a reservation for one of the most popular days of the year was the right decision indeed. Having a reservation guarantees you access only if you arrive before the park reaches capacity. If you arrive after it reaches capacity you will not allowed access. Another thing is making sure you don’t leave the park. If you leave after the park reaches capacity you will not be allowed re-entry, even though you had the reservation for entry that day. These are super important details, and stopping by to ask was the right thing to do.

If you are still able to visit on NYE, I have a couple of recommendations to help your day include some rest and relaxation. Since you won’t be able to leave for a break there are corners all over EPCOT where you can just chill. One of the best places to give your feet a rest and enjoy some seats is the Beauty and the Beast Sing-along, located in the France Pavilion this is a 15 minute story about Le Fou. There are some classic songs to sing along with and a new version of a classic. I mostly love the dark, and getting a breather where you can truly relax. Another way to get a longer time to relax is finding yourself an advanced dining reservation at a place like Space 220. 60 days before your visit you will be able to start looking for reservations. This will give you time to recharge, and enjoy a nice meal. And if you do choose this restaurant you will be transported in a space lift elevator to the Centauri Station to enjoy your meal with the views of my favorite planet. There will be parties happening all over once it starts to get closer to the midnight hour. So you should find a location you want to party in, and stay put to enjoy the tunes the DJs will be spinning.

I hope this information is helpful getting you into the parks on NYE. Stop by again anytime!
