I'm an annual passholder. I'm spending my actual birthday at Magic Kingdom. I'll be with my husband and our two daughters. I'll be turning 26, my husband is 27, our two daughters are 2 years old and 5 months old. Any suggestions?

Happy birthday, Skylar, and welcome to planDisney! I can't think of a more magical way to spend your special day than visiting Magic Kingdom Park with your family. I recently spent my birthday at Walt Disney World Resort, too, so let's talk about some ways to elevate an already fabulous day.

When you first arrive at the theme park, look for one of the Main Street Vehicles in Town Square. You might see a horse-drawn trolley or fire engine. Hop aboard for a ride you won't forget. The first time I was on the trolley and we turned the corner to see the Cinderella Castle glistening in the morning sun, all the guests on board started cheering. I may or may not have had a tear in my eye! Your little ones will enjoy this unique way to head right down the middle of Main Street, USA, so that's how I vote you kick off your birthday.

You'll be dropped off at the castle, and my bonus tip is to ask the driver to snap some photos of your family in the vehicle. If you let the driver know it's your birthday, he might even let you pose behind the wheel. What a memory!

Next, head over to Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. I know it's only March, but trust me! At the back counter, you can have a Happy Birthday button customized with your name. The talented Cast Members will paint your name on the button for a small fee, and be sure to ask for some complimentary fun flourishes. They'll text you when it's ready for pickup. Wearing a birthday button will add a dash of pixie dust to your day, and having it painted makes a lasting souvenir.

Since you'll want to share the birthday fun with your family, I recommend focusing on attractions and experiences you can all do together. Attractions with no height requirement often allow even the youngest guests to ride in a parent's lap. You can check the complete list to plan the perfect day. When my son was small, his favorites were the Walt Disney World Railroad and "it's a small world." I also recommend purchasing Disney Genie+ service first thing that morning to make many wait times shorter. Treat yourself!

My final tip is to end your birthday by watching Happily Ever After together. I checked the calendar, and the show starts at 8:00 PM this week. You can find a spot early where the little ones can sit down, grab some snacks, and wait for the show. Holding your husband's hand and watching your two-year-old's face during the fireworks will be a magical way to end a practically perfect day.

Skylar, just being together will be the best gift of all, but I hope I've given you some ideas to make your day extra fabulous. I know you'll make many magical memories, and please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
