Hey there, hi there, ho there, Mariana! You're as welcome as can be here at
planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!
I actually looked into this to be sure, and I was told by a Cast Member that running from the Transportation & Ticket Center all the way to
Disney's Contemporary Resort is not permitted. That route would take you through active roadways and parking areas, which are considered safety hazards. Because of that, it's not a recommended or allowed path for running.
That said, you do have
some really lovely alternatives that still give you that “run by the water” feeling. If your goal is to enjoy views of Seven Seas Lagoon, one of the best options is the walking path that connects
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. It's about a mile long, peaceful, and offers beautiful views of the lagoon, the resort grounds, and even the Wedding Pavilion. It's a great place for a relaxed jog, especially early in the morning.
Another option I absolutely love is the pathway around
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. This one is much longer, around 3.1 miles, and it has a completely different vibe. It's quiet, shaded, and surrounded by trees, which makes it perfect if you're looking for a more peaceful, nature-filled run while still being right in the middle of
Walt Disney World.
If you're driving, you can park at
Magic Kingdom and then make your way toward the nearby resort areas to access those paths. Just be mindful of where pedestrian access is clearly marked and allowed.
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
