If I'm an annual pass holder but my friend has a general entrance ticket, can we still go in the annual pass entrance together, or do we need to separate?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Yolanda!

We are SO happy to hear from you again, and hope that you’re getting super excited for your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Enjoy all of the lovely Halloween decor and merchandise around Disney World, and refer to the Halloween at Disney page on the Disney Parks Blog for additional information!

Being an Annual Passholder at Disney World is so wonderful (be sure to familiarize yourself with the Annual Passholder Exclusive Perks, & More page) and I’m glad that you’re a part of this magical club with me!

I do love that there is a separate Passholder entrance at the theme parks because it usually has a shorter line — meaning I can typically access the theme parks a little quicker! This line is only available for Guests with a valid Annual Pass, Yolanda, so your friend will need to stand in a traditional line to gain access to the theme parks. (I do recommend that your friend follows you toward the side that has the Annual Passholder entrance as those touch points on the sides typically have less people trying to access them than the middle ones, so she shouldn’t be far behind you.) You, as a Passholder, can also use the traditional entrances if you do not want to separate from your friend.

I hope you have a lovely time on your upcoming vacation, Yolanda! Let us know if you have any additional questions!

Meet the Panelist: Allyn, Florida

Hello! I am Allyn, your personal planDisney companion! I’ve enjoyed most of my life in the heart of Wyoming but am currently living my fairy tale as a wife, mom, yoga instructor, and fine jewelry designer in central Florida! When I’m not galavanting around the Disney theme parks, you’ll probably find me reading a good book, outside playing with my family, or learning to do something new. I truly believe that dreams come true, and I look forward to sharing that magic with you!
