Hey there, hi there, Mary! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by again to ask us another planning question.
Oh boy! You've asked an almost impossible question to answer because all of Disneyland Resort is worth a visit during the holiday time. Since both parks are just steps away from each other, I would suggest a
Park Hopper ticket for a one-day visit. This will keep you from having to make that impossible decision. Problem solved!
However, if you had to pick it really just depends on what you are looking for. Disneyland Park will have more of the beautiful traditional decor and, of course, the snow-capped decor on Sleeping Beauty Castle. You will also have the opportunity to experience some iconic holiday overlays for attractions like Haunted Mansion Holiday and
"it's a small world" Holiday. You also have the parade and the castle lighting that ends with "snow" falling on Main Street, U.S.A.
Over at Disney California Adventure Park, you'll find some wonderful vintage decor on Buena Vista Street. My favorite decor is present in Cars Land, the residents there really know how to deck the halls! You'll also find
Disney Festival of Holidays where you can enjoy a bunch of fun bites and drinks available throughout the park from marketplace kiosks. Over near Paradise Garden Grill, you'll find
¡Viva Navidad! celebrations going on with entertainment and limited-time food offerings.
Mary, I don't think you can go wrong with either park if you have to choose. Don't forget you'll also find some fun decor in the Disneyland Resort Hotel lobbies as well! If you have any other questions about your upcoming visit, be sure to visit us again!
