Hi! I'm going alone with 3 kids. Will my 7(48") and 9(51") year old be able to ride the MK mountains alone while I wait with 2 year old at exit? We've been many times so they are familiar with the rides, just not sure of the rules for riding alo

    Hi Mona!

Thank you for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Good news! Your older kids can ride the mountains! The height requirement for Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain is 40 inches or taller, and for Space Mountain is 42 inches or taller! You can now search the attractions by height requirements on the "Attractions" page of the Walt Disney World Website.

Also, if you wish to ride, you can see a Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction and request a "Rider Switch Pass" which will allow your family to take turn riding while someone watches the little one.

Hope this helps! If I can assist you with any other planning question, please feel free to send me your questions!

    Happy Planning!
