    Hi! I'm an advance planner working on our third trip for Nov. 17-23, 2010. What time should I plan to have dinner reservations at Hollywood and Vine with the Fantasmic dinner package if catching the 6:30 show?

    Hi Nancy,

    My family loves Fantasmic! and we sometimes do the dinner package so that we don't have to get to Fantasmic! too early.   However, I still recommend getting there about 20 to 30 minutes early, even with the dinner package.

    If you eat at Hollywood and Vine, which has a buffet and thus the food is ready and waiting for you, then I think a 5:00 Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) is fine.  However, if you are eating anywhere else, such as at the Hollywood Brown Derby, then I suggest a 4:30 or 4:45 ADR.  You may have to wait a little before getting to your table and this allows time for you to order and to enjoy the meal without feeling rushed.
