I'm an adult woman over 40 thinking of a solo trip to Disney World. What would you recommend I do?

    Hi Erika,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

If I were heading to Walt Disney World solo, I would definitely plan a theme park day or two, and I would plan only attractions that I really wanted to do. When traveling alone, everything can be about you! I still suggest making Disney FastPass+ selections. Some of my favorite attractions, like Soarin' at Epcot and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom, do tend to be very popular, and a Disney FastPass+ selection would help to mitigate the wait time. In places where you can, such as at Test Track at Epcot, take advantage of the single rider line, which will generally go much faster than the regular queue.

I thoroughly enjoy a visit to a spa at Walt Disney World. My favorite is Senses - A Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. I feel so pampered and relaxed there. Even if you only go in for one treatment, you can spend time in the relaxation lounge and enjoy the whirlpool spa, zero gravity chairs, and other amenities.

For dining, be sure to treat yourself to some fun experiences. One I really enjoy solo is the Tune-In Lounge at Disney's Hollywood Studios. This 50's-inspired bar is adjacent to 50's Primetime Cafe, and you have access to the full menu! Nomad Lounge at Disney's Animal Kingdom is another great possibility. The ambiance is exotic, and they offer a great snack menu with global flavors.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Erika! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
