I'm going to make ADRs for character meals for our trip, but was wondering if I should make ADRs for ALL of our meals. I hesitate to do this because lack of flexibility and the fact that there's only two people in my party. What do you recommend?

Hi, Amy!   I strongly suggest you make Advance Dining Reservations for all your meals.   Dining fills up quickly, and walk-ups do work occasionally but you are much better off with the sure thing.

My best suggestion for you is to book late dinners.  That way, you have your entire day free, and a wonderful dinner waiting for you after a long day in the parks.      My family usually books a late lunch (or just plan to eat a late lunch if doing counter service that day - a nice break and gets us out of the afternoon sun) then a late dinner.   This works out to be a great schedule for us.

Once you see how crowded the restaurants can get, you will be glad you put the work into making all your Advance Dining Reservations 90 days out by calling (407)WDW-DINE.    Have a great vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
