    I'm addicted to the mom's panel! Will be visiting WDW with DH, DD 4 and 8 and staying at the BCR 7/26 - 8/2. Are there any special tips I should know about the BCR? I've read about room upgrades, how is that possible? Did I make the right resort choice?

    Hi Natalie!  You will be staying in one of my favorite resorts on property!

    I love the Beach Club resort for many reasons but probably the biggest is because of its location!  You are just a quick five minutes to the International Gateway of EPCOT and also a short distance from Hollywood Studios.  You can reach that park via the water taxis or by taking the mile long pathway along the water.

    The Yacht and Beach Club resorts boast the best pool on property....Stormalong Bay.  This is a large water wonderland in itself with slides, sandy bottoms, and fun and games through-out the day.  Don't forget to schedule plenty of time to enjoy this amenity as it is specifically for the Yacht and Beach resort guests only!

    Cape May is a great restaurant located right off the lobby.  Enjoy a character breakfast with some of your favorite friends or head there for dinner and their New England Clam Bake that includes great seafood but also other delicious choices.

    Boardwalk is just across the bridge where you can find evening street entertainers, surrey bikes to rent, the latest scores at the ESPN Club, and great fudge!

    It won't take you long to feel welcome and at home at the Beach Club resort.  One of my favorite cast members will greet you as you enter and exit and always has a smile on her face!  During the day you can find other cast members playing games with the kids in the lobby.  The buses for the parks are just outside the lobby area and the store has ample supplies of just about anything you might need.

    When checking in ask about upgrades as nothing is impossible. It would be wonderful if you were able to get a water view room as the lights at night across the water from Boardwalk are so magical!
